3 Days from Fez to Merzouga and Marrakech

Day 1: Fez – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Early departure from Fez towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. During the journey, we make a stop in Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, and continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where it is possible to observe monkeys living freely.

We continue the route through the Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and oases. After lunch, we proceed toward Merzouga.

Upon arrival, we begin a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying an impressive sunset in the Sahara Desert. Arrival at the desert camp, traditional dinner, and a night under the stars with Berber music.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After watching the sunrise in the desert and enjoying breakfast, we return by camel or by 4×4 vehicle to Merzouga.

We continue to Rissani, the former capital of the region and an important traditional trading center. We then head toward the impressive Todra Gorges, where we take a short walk to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

In the afternoon, we travel to the Dades Valley, following the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in the valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we depart for Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. We continue to the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we enjoy a visit.

In the afternoon, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops along the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and end of the tour.
