Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – City Visit
Reception at the airport, port, or accommodation in Tangier, a strategic city located between Europe and Africa.
Panoramic visit of Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and the legendary Hercules Caves. Free time to explore the medina, the souk, and the kasbah.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in Tangier.
Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, departure to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city located in the Rif Mountains.
Free time to walk through its blue-painted streets, peaceful squares, and artisan workshops. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight in a riad in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, departure to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved mosaics.
Continuation to Meknes, the imperial city founded by Moulay Ismail. Visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the medina, and the mausoleum of the sultan.
Arrival in Fez in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a riad in Fez.
Day 4: Fez – Guided Visit of the Imperial City
After breakfast, guided visit of Fez el-Bali, one of the best-preserved medieval medinas in the world.
We discover Al Karaouine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, the traditional souks, and the famous tanneries of Fez. Panoramic view from the Borj Sud viewpoint.
Dinner and overnight in a riad in Fez.
Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Departure toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, and in the cedar forests of Azrou, where monkeys live freely.
Continuation through the Ziz Valley until arriving in Merzouga, at the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight in a Sahara camp under a starry sky with Berber music.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, departure to Rissani, the former capital of the Tafilalt region.
We continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, a beautiful natural canyon. In the afternoon, we travel to the Dades Valley along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert.
We visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. Free time in Jemaa el-Fna Square.
Dinner and overnight in a riad in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech – Guided Visit of the Red City
After breakfast, guided visit of Marrakech: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the traditional souks.
Free afternoon to enjoy the city at your own pace.
Dinner and overnight in a riad in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech – Departure Transfer
After breakfast, transfer to the airport or agreed location and end of the 9-day itinerary from Tangier through Morocco.
