3 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Early departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with stops to enjoy panoramic views and discover Berber villages.

We visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous monuments in Morocco. We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert.

In the afternoon, we follow the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs until reaching the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel or riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we depart for the impressive Todra Gorges, a beautiful natural canyon where we take a short walk.

We continue the journey toward Merzouga, crossing desert landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival, we change the vehicle for camels to begin a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying the sunset in the Sahara.

Arrival at the desert camp, where we enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music around the fire, and a night under the stars in comfortable desert tents.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we return by camel or by 4×4 vehicle to Merzouga.

We begin the journey back to Marrakech, passing through Rissani, the Draa Valley, and Ouarzazate, with stops for photographs and rest along the way. We cross the High Atlas Mountains again, arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.
