1-Day Excursion from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley

Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Marrakech

Departure in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech, heading south toward the High Atlas Mountains. During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic views of valleys, agricultural fields, and Berber villages built on the mountain slopes.

Our first stop will be at a traditional Berber house, where you will learn about the local way of life and share a cup of mint tea, a symbol of Moroccan hospitality.

We then continue toward the heart of the Ourika Valley, following the course of the Ourika River, surrounded by green terraces, orchards, and unique natural landscapes.

Setti Fatma and the Ourika Waterfalls

Arrival at the village of Setti Fatma, the most visited point in the valley. Here you will have free time to take an optional guided walk to the famous Ourika waterfalls, an accessible hike appreciated for its beautiful views and natural surroundings.

Those who prefer can enjoy the peaceful environment by the river, relax on a terrace, or take photographs of the landscape.

Traditional Lunch

Free lunch at a local restaurant by the river, where you can taste typical Moroccan dishes such as tagine, brochettes, or Berber salads in a calm and natural setting.

Return to Marrakech

In the afternoon, return to Marrakech, arriving in the city at the end of the day. End of the 1-day excursion to the Ourika Valley.
