4 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Early departure from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with panoramic stops to enjoy spectacular views and discover Berber villages.

We visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges

After breakfast, we continue along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and the impressive Dades Valley.

We arrive at the Todra Gorges, a spectacular natural canyon with vertical cliffs, where we take a walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel near the gorges.

Day 3: Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we head toward Merzouga, passing through Berber villages and landscapes that gradually become more desert-like.

Upon arrival, we change the vehicle for camels to begin a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying an unforgettable sunset in the Sahara.

Arrival at the desert camp, where we enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music around the fire, and a night under the stars in comfortable desert tents.

Day 4: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we return by camel or 4×4 vehicle to Merzouga.

We begin the journey back to Marrakech, passing through Rissani, the Draa Valley, and Ouarzazate, with stops along the way to rest and take photos. We cross the High Atlas once again, arriving in Marrakech in the afternoon.
