5 Days from Casablanca to Marrakech and Merzouga

Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech

Reception at the airport or hotel in Casablanca. We begin the journey to Marrakech, the famous Red City.

Upon arrival, guided visit of the main monuments: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the traditional souks. Free time in the afternoon to explore the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Dinner and overnight in a riad in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast, departure to the south crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with panoramic stops along the way.

We visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert, and follow the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley.

Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure toward the impressive Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon with vertical cliffs.

We continue to Merzouga, at the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying the sunset in the desert.

Dinner and overnight in a desert camp under a starry sky with Berber music.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt

We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, departure toward Rissani, the former capital of the Tafilalt region.

We continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and oases. Arrival in Midelt, located between the High Atlas and the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Day 5: Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Casablanca or Marrakech

After breakfast, we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the cedar forests of Azrou, home to monkeys living freely, and in Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland.

Continuation to Casablanca or Marrakech, depending on preference. Arrival in the afternoon and end of the 5-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech and Merzouga.
