7 Days Imperial Cities and Desert from Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Reception at Marrakech airport and transfer to the riad or hotel. Depending on the arrival time, free time for a first introduction to the city. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Guided Tour of Marrakech

After breakfast, we enjoy a guided visit of Marrakech, known as the Red City. We visit the main historical monuments: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the traditional souks.

In the afternoon, free time to enjoy Jemaa el-Fna Square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 3: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Departure to the south crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Panoramic stops for photographs and visits to Berber villages.

We visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges

After breakfast, we travel along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley.

We arrive at the spectacular Todra Gorges, an impressive natural canyon. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the area.

Day 5: Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we continue toward Merzouga, passing through traditional villages and oases.

Upon arrival, we enjoy a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, watching the sunset in the Sahara Desert. Arrival at the desert camp, traditional dinner, and overnight under the stars with Berber music.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fez

We wake up early to watch the sunrise in the Sahara. After breakfast, we begin the journey to Fez, passing through the Ziz Valley, the Middle Atlas Mountains, the cedar forests of Azrou, and Ifrane, known as the Moroccan Switzerland.

Arrival in Fez in the afternoon. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 7: Guided Visit of Fez – Return to Marrakech

After breakfast, we enjoy a guided visit of Fez, exploring its medina, madrasas, mosques, souks, and historical monuments.

In the afternoon, transfer or return to Marrakech (according to the agreed plan), ending the 7-day tour.
